You may not know that the 'base' in base jump is an acronym, which stands for the four different catergories that you can jump from, Building, Antenna, Span (bridge) or Earth (high cliffs). Base jumping involves jumping from high objects with a parachute on your back, free falling through the air & pulling the parachute at the last minute. Very risky, highly dangerous, terribly exciting but... be warned though during the last 10 years there has been atleast 150 fatalities! |
